Women in PL DinnerDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The dinner’s details and logistics are here.

There will be two lunches targeted specifically to underrepresented groups of the programming languages community. The goal of both lunches is to bring together members of these groups in order to building relationships and informally network.

LGBTQ+ Lunch

This lunch will be held with the goal of bringing together members of the LGBTQ+ community and provide opportunities for networking and community building.

URM Lunch

This lunch is meant to bring together members of populations that have been historically underrepresented in the ICFP community, including women, African Americans, Hispanics, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Native Pacific Islanders. The goal of this informal lunch is to foster relationships, and promote informal networking.

The Women in PL dinner aims to connect women in the programming lanugages community, including researchers, developers, faculty, post-docs and students. It is intended to celebrate achievements, small and big, and provide a low-pressure atmosphere to foster building one’s support group.

The Women in PL dinner will be held on Wednesday evening (October 15).

The details will be announced soon!
